Has the biggest celebrity feud finally come to a end?

One of the biggest celebrity feuds of the decade - one between pop stars Katy Perry and Taylor Swift - may have just come to a end.

Back in 2014, we discovered that Taylor and Katy had issues because Katy supposedly stole some of Taylor's backup dances from her world tour, and apparently was the inspiration behind Taylor's hit song, 'Bad Blood'.

After years of digs back and forth digs Twitter, Katy appeared on James Corden's Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Special on May 22 and discussed the feud further, saying: "That's true, there is a situation. Honestly, it's really like she started it and it's time for her to finish it.

"I tried to talk to her about it and she wouldn't speak to me… I do the right thing any time that it feels like a fumble. It was a full shutdown and then she writes a song about me, and I'm like, OK, cool, cool, cool, that's how you want to deal with it? Karma!

"But what I want to say is that I'm ready for that BS to be done. Now, there is the law of cause and effect. You do something, there's going to be a reaction, and trust me daddy, there's going to be a reaction. It's all about karma, right? I think personally that women together, not divided, and none of this petty bullshit, women together will heal the world."

And, James asked: "Would it be enough to just receive a text from Taylor Swift that just said 'the beef is off the grill?'"

Katy's answer? "100%"

Over the weekend, Katy went on to do a 72-hour live stream with a Big Brother sort of vibe which came after her album release on June 9 - the same day Taylor decided to release her music back onto all streaming sites, including Spotify.

This public apology to Taylor may spell the end of their bad blood for good. "I am ready to let it go. I forgive her and I'm sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her. I love her, and I want the best for her. And I think she’s a fantastic songwriter, and I think that, you know, if we, both her and I, can be representatives of strong women that come together despite their differences, I think the whole world is going to go like, ‘Yeah, well we can do this.’ I don’t know.”

Katy seems to be pulling out all the stops, even changing the lyrics of her song Swish Swish from "Don't come for me," in the first verse to "God bless you on your journey, oh baby girl," having fans assuming this was about Taylor at her charity concert on June 12.

Let's hope this bad blood is over, and these two major celebs can be back on good terms!
