BurgerFuel opens in the USA!

Our favourite burger joint is making America great again, by opening the doors to their first-ever USA-based restaurant!

Hot off the back of the Indy 500, BurgerFuel have opened their first American flagship restaurant in Broad Ripple, central Indianapolis.

Indy’s answer to Auckland’s Ponsonby, Broad Ripple is famous for attracting waves of millennials with its range of popular nightlife haunts and thriving new-school outposts.

We feel the motorsport-obsessed city is the perfect locale for BurgerFuel’s flagship, who draws inspiration for each of its fresh-to-order burgers from all things petrol heads will love. (We’re looking at you Bacon Backfire, Burnout and American Muscle).

Not one to do things by halves, the BurgerFuel team went all out to give locals a taste of the iconic burger brand’s culture. Resident BurgerFuel artist, Haser painted around the clock to craft customised murals in both the restaurant and throughout Broad Ripple, while Radio BurgerFuel has been broadcasting live from inside.

Cruising the streets are the two custom-built, BurgerFuel emblazoned muscle cars, one a’68 Ford Torino GT Fastback, the other a ’68 Plymouth GTX Hardtop.

The USA opening marks the seventh country to receive its very own BurgerFuel restaurant, others include Australia, Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Eqypt.

But what will they serve? Will this new opening lose all our current faves? Fear not, my friend, the USA flagship will continue to serve up 100% pure, grass-fed beef, free range chicken, spud and kumara fries, vegetarian and vegan options, and (thankfully) their infamously addictive BurgerFuel Aioli.
