Prada Journal Third Edition: Visionary creative writing contest

Words by Aneka Burden Not content with designing beautiful clothes Prada has joined forces with leading Italian publishing house Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Editore to present the third edition of Prada Journal, an international literature contest dedicated to emerging writers. This year’s theme is: 'Illuminations, shadows and mirages. Things are not always what they seem'. Calling visionary writers to put pen to paper and explore their own unique view of the world. The ability to observe and reflect on life is crucial for any writer. For this reason, the Italian fashion house has collaborated with luxury eyewear brand, Luxottica, to design a breathtaking collection. Perfectly timed to coincide with the Prada journal theme the collaboration creates a three-dimensional literary experience. The winners of this prestigious contest will be awarded the Prada Fetrinelli Prize as well receiving a cash prize, their stories published as an eBook in the Prada Journal digital platform, and in the Feltrinelli Zoom Catalogue.
