First look: Specsavers x Carla Zampatti eyewear collection

No one does designer collaborations quite like Specsavers.

There's been Kym Ellery and Kylie Minogue, Balmain and Collette Dinnigan, but now, the accessible eyewear label have collaborated with iconic fashion designer and businesswoman, Carla Zampatti, to launch a collection of stunning eyewear.

The range, which includes 14 optical and eight prescription sunglasses, seeks inspiration from some of the most iconic moments in fashion. Boasting artfully sculpted shapes and opulent finishes, the range is retro-inspired but with a fresh, contemporary flair.

Each pair of glasses is wearable yet unique - staying true to Carla's signature style.

Italian born Australian Carla is a true pioneer of fashion and is revered for her bold yet timeless looks. She calls the Carla Zampatti woman 'purposeful with an independence of spirit', and this is embodied throughout the collaboration with Specsavers. Carla herself is an eyewear aficionado, wearing her sunglasses both outdoors and indoors and declaring she buys them by the dozen.

"I've designed a collection I would wear," says Carla. "It is a collection for every occasion, every woman, regardless of age or style."

Fronting the campaign is award-winning Australian actress, and self-confessed Carla Zampatti fan, Marta Dusseldorp. Marta embodies the beautiful, vibrant woman Carla designs for and is a longstanding admirer of Carla and everything she has done for women.

From traditional black and white frames to on-trend pastels and splashes of bold colour, the Specsavers x Carla Zampatti eyewear range has a palette to suit every woman's taste. With shiny gold accents - and even a matte velvet finish - these glasses are both contemporary and chic. Let's just say: we want every pair!

The Specsavers x Carla Zampatti range is priced from $299 for two pairs of single vision and is available now in all 52 Specsavers stores nationwide.
