This is where you'll find a Harry Potter Freakshake

Expanding both our daily calorie count and waistlines, freakshakes have well and truly lit up New Zealand's beverage scene, with the funky milkshake-meets-dessert mashup rising to popularity at gelaterias and specialty dessert outposts the country over.

However, our British counterparts are raising the freakshake stakes, and send Harry Potter geeks around the world into a complete dessert frenzy.

Bristol-based, The Beehive Cafe has built their reputation for creating some seriously good freakshakes, but their latest creation has blown people away. The dessert obsessives have since introduced a Harry Potter-themed freakshake - complete with a magic wand and Harry's signature broken glasses for you to take home!

Naturally, the Harry Potter Freakshake is butter beer-flavoured, topped with a bobby doughnut, whipped cream, butterscotch pieces, a magical chocolate frog, flavoured beans, a coin, and copious amounts of sprinkles, all bound to have you belting out 'WINGARDIUM LEVIOSA' by your last sip.

If this looks a little intimidating, why not tantalise your tastebuds with a Deluxe Butterbeer Hot Chocolate or a Butterbeer Milkshake? Made with all the same diving ingredients listed above (but to a lesser degree), these saccharide-sweet options will still give you a little dose of Hogwarts fever.

Okay New Zealand, time to follow suit. No doubt there are hundreds of Kiwi Harry Potter geeks just fiending for their little taste of magic...
