Just when you thought Queen Bee couldn't be any more extra...

Just when we thought Queen Bee couldn't be any more incredible, she goes and launches a Formation scholarship!

On the anniversary of her Lemonade album, Beyoncé announced the launch of Formation Scholars, a scholarship programme for young woman in a selected four colleges around America. These esteemed education facilities include the likes of Boston's Berklee College of Music, New York's Parsons School of Design and two historically black colleges, Harvard University in Washington and Spelman College in Atlanta.

One student from each college will be chosen for the scholarship starting in the 2017-2018 academic year.

The scholarships are intended for female students pursuing studies in creative arts, music, literature or African-American studies and is meant to '...encourage and support young women who are afraid to think outside the box and are bold, creative, conscious and confident.'

But this is not the first time we have been amazed by Bey's generosity. Through her own charitable foundation BeyGood, she has been known to raise money for earthquake victims, drive gender equality, hosted multiple food drives and purchased school supplies for students.

While we're still waiting with baited breath for more details, the announcement of the Formation scholarship is reason #157,000 why we're head-over-heels with Queen Bee.
