A decadent Afternoon Tea experience with Hilton Auckland and Honest Chocolat

Especially in the hot summer months, date plans during the day are precisely what we need, and there’s no better way to do so than attending the Honest Love by Hilton Afternoon Tea. Beginning on the 3rd of February and ending in late April, relish in the breathtaking views of the Auckland Viaduct whilst dining in true luxury. 
Set in the Auckland-beloved Bellini Bar at Hilton Auckland, and in collaboration with Matakana-based chocolate brand Honest Chocolat, this is the perfect venue to enjoy the most romantic month of the year. Enjoy the art of food with Hilton Auckland’s Executive Chef Juan Patino and Pastry Chef Hiranya Ratnayake as they assemble a menu of beautiful creations.
Dine in delight whilst enjoying their Dark Chocolate Choux boasting a dollop of passionfruit cream and dark chocolate ganache, topped with caramelised cocoa nibs, or their Gateau featuring the dynamic duo of chocolate and raspberry jam. 
But the chocolate doesn’t stop there; enter French chocolatier and founder of Honest Chocolate, Nicolas Bonnaud. With an impressive resumé to showcase his skills including heading the pastry team at two Michelin London restaurants, Sketch, you’re guaranteed to be in good hands. Nicolas worked to create exclusive Honest Chocolate, including a passionfruit-flavoured Heart Bon Bon, also available at their Commerical Bay and Matakana stores. For the savouries, expect features such as Pumpernickel Bread with Salmon Gravlax and Sweet Corn Choux with Chicken Mole and Spicy Popcorn, all to be enjoyed alongside a flute of Pommery Rosé. 
The Honest Love by Hilton Afternoon Tea will run from Friday to Sunday each week, with two seatings at 11 am and 1 pm. For Valentine’s Day Tuesday, the Bellini Bar will open its doors exclusively for romantic brunching, with special touches to surprise and delight you and your loved ones. Priced at $89 per person, this is an occasion not to be missed.
