The Cadbury Chocolate Carnival

Anna Thompson Wednesday, July 13th, 2016

Chocolate lovers, rejoice! Dunedin’s annual Cadbury Chocolate Carnival has returned for 2016 and this year’s event is set to be sweeter than ever.

From July 16th to the 22nd, Cadbury has a whole range of events going on to celebrate chocolate this winter.

From chocolate art classes to scrumptious wearable arts, there will be something for every chocolate lover out there, even chocolate face masks.

Just in time for the second week of the school holidays, the immense amount of activities will cater to the entire family over the seven days of chocolate heaven. Bookings are essential for the ever-popular Teddy Bear’s picnic, so get in quick!

Of course, the annual Jaffa Race is ready to roll once more. The standout event sees 25,000 Jaffas are sent soaring down the country’s steepest street in the charity race.

We’re holding out until Cadbury decides Auckland needs their own festival, but perhaps it’s even worth the trip south?
