The superdrink even Beyonce wants you to sip

As if Beyonce hadn’t adequately touched our lives, she’s now got us reconsidering our hydration choices. Introducing watermelon water, the newest superdrink to hit shelves and the most recent product to be endorsed by Queen B herself.

Created from watermelon juice processed at high pressure, watermelon water is sold as a refreshing, normal water substitution for mornings, workouts and workdays. It’s anticipated to explode in popularity and perhaps become one of the biggest food products of 2017.

But Beyonce announced in a press statement that her advocacy for the product was a bigger investment in the future of clean, natural hydration.

“This is more than an investment in a brand, it’s an investment in female leaders, fitness, American farmers and the health of people and our planet”.

Her brand of choice is New York-based WTRMLN WTR, a company with a focus on sustainable production and preservation of natural nutrients.

And while some have expressed skepticism about the health benefits of the saccharine bottled beverage, each bottle boasts an undeniable range of health benefits. Watermelon water is packed with electrolytes for post-sweat hydration, amino acids for muscle recovery and potassium to support a healthy heart.

WTRMLN WTR is now stocked by 7,500 US vendors, and will be sold at concert venues throughout Beyonce’s upcoming tour. Look out for this boomer to hit Kiwi shelves soon!
