Everything you need to recreate this runway-ready beauty look

Every year we wait with baited breath for designers to unveil their Resort 2018 collections. But while you’re ogling every stunning garment to make its way down the runway, we’re busy gleaning beauty tips for the coming season.

Spring beauty looks celebrate natural features, with subtle hints of shimmer for a wide-awake, dewy finish.

This year, Dior, one of our favourite fashion houses, debuted a statement-making look at the Cruise 2018 show, which we’re predicting will take over this spring. Here, check out how to recreate this fashion-forward looks thanks to a little help from our friends at Revlon.

THE LOOK: Highlighting each model’s natural beauty, this ethereal makeup look perfectly complemented the western concept of Dior’s Cruise 2018 show. Eyes were washed with earthy brick hues, while lips were offered a polished-looking sheen in neutral hues. Complexions were perfected without looking fussy, to create a natural ‘lit-from-within’ glow.

THE KIT:

Step 1: The idea here is to leave skin looking luminous and fresh, after applying a thin layer of Revlon PhotoReady Airbrush Effect Makeup.

Step 2: Use your finger to daub the long-wearing Revlon Colorstay Crème Eyeshadow in Praline over lids.

Step 3: For a feathered brow look, use a spooling brush to sweep brows up, and apply Revlon Colorstay Brow Crayon in Brown, in short, upward strokes.

Step 4: Get your glow on by applying a wash of colour to cheeks with the cream-to-powder formula of the Revlon Insta-Blush in Rose Gold Kiss.

Step 5: Add a shimmering touch of highlight using Revlon Highlighting Palette in Peach Glow, for a sun-kissed complexion.

Step 6: Finish the look by applying Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Berry Smoothie to lips. Voila!

BEAUTY ED’S TIP: Don’t be afraid to forgo your usual routine when it comes to applying your base, you want your natural complexion to shine through. Less is totally more here, let freckles and other sun-kissed features be the hero.
