Get The Look: Nadia Lim

Nadia Lim cover We think Nadia Lim, Masterchef New Zealand, looks like a mega babe as our Remix digital cover star. We had a chat with Debra Tremayne from Jane Iredale who did Nadia's makeup for the photoshoot and found out how she created Nadia's babeing look. SKIN It's always important to have a glowing, gorgeous base to work with. Debs tells us how she achieves it. 1) Using the Foundation brush apply a fine layer of Jane Iredale Absence Oil Control Primer to control shine. 2) Using the Sculpting brush apply Jane Iredale Circle Delete #2 'Peach' concealer under eyes and blend out. 3) Using the Handi Brush apply 'Golden Glow' Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Base using light downward strokes. 4) Finish off by lightly spraying the face with Jane Iredale D2O Hydration Spray to set the minerals. Dust again with Pure Pressed base if you requiring extra coverage. EYES Debs tells us how to create a sexy, smokey eye with the following steps... 1) Using your ring finger apply a base of 'Canvas' Jane Iredale Lid Primer in from lash line to just above the crease. 2) Using the Smoke gets in your eyes Jane Iredale Eyeshadow kit start with a base shade of 'Nude' all over the lid using the Deluxe Eye Shader Brush. Contour through the crease of the eye and along the upper and lower lash line with 'Aubergine' and blend out using the Eye Contour Brush. Finally apply a touch of 'Sheer Gold' to the inner corner with the Chisel shader brush. 3) Line the upper lash line with Jane Iredale Cream to Powder Liner in 'Black/Brown Plus' with a subtle wing using theEyeliner/brow brush.  4) Open up the eye a little by lining the water line with 'white' Eyepencil. 5) Apply Jane Iredale PureLash Lengthening Mascara to top and bottom lashes followed by a row of the Professional Faux Individual Lashes. Gotta love a bit of extra eyelash volume! 6) Use the Jane Iredale Bitty Brow Kit in 'Brunette' to define and enhance brows followed by a coat of PureBrow Fix. CHEEKS It's important to highlight and create contours, especially when in front of the camera. 1) Using the Dome Brush sweep a light stroke of the lighter shade from the Jane Iredale Twice Blushed Blush Duo and apply to the apples of the cheeks blending up to the temples. 2) Contour in the hollow of your cheek bone from the centre of your ear towards the corner of your mouth using the Oval Blender Brush and Jane Iredale So-Bronze #1 then proceed around the temples and under your chin to define your bone structure. 3) Highlight the high points of your face with the Fan Brush and a sweep of the lightest shade in the Jane Iredale MoonGlow Quad. LIPS Complete the look with a lush, nude lip. 1) Line the lips with 'Spice' Lip Pencil Then apply a coat of Jane Iredale Lip Fixation Lip stain in 'Fascination.' Wait 60 seconds for the stain to dry before applying the gloss and there you have it!
