Raising the calibre of hairdressing one stylist at a time

The inauguration for the 2018 Fashion Hair Awards was a night like no other. Hosted by The Collective, it brought together the industry’s biggest players for a night full of glamour, action and most importantly, fashion. Although it would be easy to hero the crisp glasses of champagne that were on tap, there seemed to be a very apparent theme amongst the biggest winners of the evening… They were all from Rodney Wayne Salons.

Famous for their refined and innovative styling culture, Rodney Wayne salons are a one-stop-shop for anyone who wants a truly curated hairstyling experience. They have been at the forefront of the hairdressing industry for as long as we can remember and this is thanks to the man himself, Rodney Wayne, and his vision of brilliance. Working alongside Rodney Wayne for 8 years now, styling alumni Richard Kavanagh attributes the success of their people to their culture of excellence and their boot-camp style training sessions to develop expertise.

Nothing proved this theory more than Andrew Cobeldick taking home Hairstylist of the Year at the 2018 Fashion Hair Awards. What salon was he from? Yes, you guessed it, Rodney Wayne on Manners. In his tearful acceptance speech, Cobeldick described working for Rodney Wayne as an ‘honour’ and attributed his success to the ‘amazing love and support’ from his team.

It’s hard to ignore the incredible calibre of hairstylists that the Rodney Wayne Salons produce. Their attention to detail in every step of the training process and unwavering support system, have proven to raise the bar for hairstylists nationwide. Don’t believe us? Have a look at the gallery above featuring the work of their numerous finalists in this year’s awards, you won’t be disappointed.
