The Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Evening is set to hit Auckland again this Sunday 14th October, for a night of entertainment, cuisine, and beauty, as well as a silent auction, all to raise money for The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation. Held at Ponsonby Road hot spot Revelry, this year’s event will offer delicious food and drink as well as an evening of entertainment including a fashion show sponsored by Clinique & Nova models, silent and live auctions, musical performances and celebrity guests. Having been a sell-out for the past three years running, this year’s event promises not to disappoint! The event is the brainchild of Kristelle Thomsen, who lost her Grandmother to Breast Cancer six years ago, and saw her mother-in- law beat Breast Cancer twice. 'Breast Cancer has severely impacted both my family and me, so I had wanted to do something to help NZBCF for a long time. The idea for the event came from a conversation with my sister-in-law Amy Max and best friend Ben Taylor, after a couple of glasses of wine one evening. At the first year’s event we sold over 170 tickets and raised $8,000 for the NZBCF.' 'After such a huge success, the momentum has continued to build. We've roped even more friends & colleagues in to help, and we are committed, now more than ever, to making this event one of the biggest fundraisers in NZ.' Tickets are $65, with $35 from each ticket sold going directly the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation. To purchase tickets, contact the Clinique Service Centre at St Luke’s Westfield, or call them on (09) 846 5045 to arrange purchase and delivery of tickets.
