Enjoy a day of skating, music and food at House of Vans

Who hasn’t loved Vans since they were a teenager mad about all things surfing and skating? Vans is the original action sports brand, firmly rooted in art, music and street culture, and recognisable the world over.

Coming to Auckland on 20th January 2018, the House of Vans is the biggest skate event New Zealand has ever seen. This one-day-only pop-up showcases Vans’ unique culture through multifaceted activations such as curated musical performances, DIY workshops, street markets and even a custom-made pop-up Vans Skate Park, and so much more.

House of Vans kicks off at 10am and is open to all ages, and features skate lessons from the Young Guns Skate School, followed by a skate photography workshop run by Manual Magazine, teaching budding skate photographers how to refine their craft and capture the perfect trick shots.

For those who want to keep their feet firmly planted on the ground, guests can check out the Vans street market - and even get a tattoo from Two Hands Tattoos or a fresh cut from Flash City barbers. Real Groovy will have vinyl for sale and skaters can shop at the Boardertown pop-up for skate hardware and more.

The day will headlined by an evening session for those 18+ with music, food and beverages for everyone to enjoy. Check out hardcore stalwarts The Bleeders, with support from Soaked Oats, Yukon Era, Jack Berry Band and Hollywood DJs.

Head along to Shed10 on 20th January 2018 to experience everything Vans at the House of Vans pop-up. Doors open at 10am and close at 10pm. Entry is free with ticket registration. To register, and more information on this awesome day out, head here
