The debut album from ex-Midnight Youth frontman Jeremy Redmore has been given a release date. Clouds Are Alive will drop on July 25th and fans will have the chance to preview the album, by attending listening parties at Rockshop stores around the country next week. Redmore will be at Rockshop stores in Christchurch, Wellington, Tauranga and Auckland to show play the record before its release. He’ll also share his stories and talk about the process of producing his first solo album. ‘I’ve collaborated with fans and talented musicians throughout the journey of completing this record, so it makes sense to me to share the final result with them in a personal way. It will also give people more than the usual insight into how someone goes about writing and recording their own album,’ says Redmore. The Clouds Are Alive listening party event times and dates are as follows: - Thursday, July 17: Rockshop Christchurch (5.00pm) - Friday, July 18: Rockshop Wellington (5.30pm) - Saturday, July 19: Rockshop Tauranga (3.00pm) - Sunday, July 20: Rockshop Auckland Albany (3.00pm) Fans attending the sessions will also be able to pre-order personalised copies of the album. More info can be found here. Clouds Are Alive can be pre-ordered now from JB Hi-Fi, Mighty Ape, and iTunes.
