Justin Bieber's Purpose Tour is over!

On Monday, Justin Bieber officially announced that he would be cancelling the rest of his Purpose Tour due to 'unforeseen circumstances.'

His website explains: 'Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts. Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months. He is grateful and honoured to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across 6 continents during this run. However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.'

Now rumours are brewing as to why he decided to cancel the remainder of his tour, and it is not what you'd expect. Speculation is that it was due to religious reasons which have since been denied, but fresh claims have emerged that he was experiencing a 'spiritual awakening' which has led to a 'new purpose' in his life other than his music - and that he may even be thinking of starting his very own church.

TMZ explained that Justin has a close relationship with Carl Lentz, the founder of the Hillsong Church, who helped him to reflect on his 'own view path in life that he should be taking.'

Bieber who has been described as the 'Tom Cruise' of this church, has an extremely close relationship with Lentz, but the church denies that they pushed Bieber to cancel the tour.

However, it could just come down to pure exhaustion. In response to all of this, Justin expressed: “I’ve been on tour for two years. I love you guys, I think you guys are awesome. I’m sorry for anyone who feels, like, disappointed or betrayed, it’s not in my heart or anything and have a blessed day.”

So for whatever reason JB cancelled his tour for, we hope he is on the road to recovery and takes what sounds like some much needed TLC time.
