kiwi artists' show not so black and white

Words by Chelsea Armitage. Chantel Matthews-Perawiti and Rocky Freeman are two up-and-coming Kiwi artists we are going to make a mental note about… they've got some seriously promising portfolios. The artists have two completely different approaches to their work; Chantel is a digital artist and produces contemporary pieces, whereas Rocky is a photographer who creates dreamy and entertaining imagery. However, what they do share is that for both of them their work is an outlet for their cultural, emotional and environmental views. This is why Chantel and Rocky have joined forces for an exhibition called It’s Not All Black And White. The free exhibition will be held on Thursday 28th November from 6 to 9pm in the reading room at The Library Café, 55 Princess Street, Onehunga. Two completely different artists, two completely different practices, brought together by one idea for one night. See the poster below and head down to check it out next Thursday!   It's Not All Black And White Exhibition
