Charli xcx

If you've been living under a rock, Charli xcx's new album Music, Fashion, Film is here, featuring the singles 'SS26', 'Wink Wink', 'Camera', and 'Rock Music', with artwork shot by Aidan Zamiri starring the unlikely (but somehow perfect) trio of John Cale, Marc Jacobs and Martin Scorsese on the cover. Charli remains one of the most defining voices in pop right now, moving effortlessly between experimental and mainstream while racking up BRIT and Grammy wins, and branching into fashion, image-making and film alongside directors like Akashi Mike, Greg Araki and Cathy Yan. Music, Fashion, Film feels like the most Charli thing she's ever done. Which, honestly, is exactly why we love her and why the album debuted at No.1 in New Zealand.

Ravyn Lenae

If our office playlist has had a permanent resident this year, it's 'Love Me Not'. Chicago singer-songwriter Ravyn Lenae has spent years building one of R&B's most compelling discographies, from the Pitchfork-approved HYPNOS to a 2025 that changed everything, with 'Love Me Not' becoming a global smash, Coachella and Lollapalooza debuts, a sold-out Blue Note residency, and arena dates with Sabrina Carpenter and Renée Rapp. Now, her third album, Blue Island, is here, and it's Lenae at her most confident, blending alt-R&B with pop and new-wave textures across standout singles 'Handle', 'Bobby', and 'Reputation' (feat. Dominic Fike). Dreamy, personal and cool, Blue Island proves Ravyn Lenae is building her legacy.

Alex Warren

Hype House-turned Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Alex Warren has released his sophomore album, WILDCHILD — launching with a teaser starring Kevin James and featuring the single 'Rescuer'. It follows his record-breaking 2025 debut You'll Be Alright, Kid, which racked up 9 billion streams, five iHeartRadio Awards, an MTV VMA and Billboard's Best New Artist title. Where that album felt like a man falling apart, WILDCHILD, named for the nickname his late father gave him, is about the healing that comes after. Kiwis got a front-row seat too, with Warren's sold-out Finding Family On The Road tour touching down in Auckland and Christchurch.

Alyssa Grace

19-year-old Alyssa Grace has only had three songs to her name and already racked up 6.7 million monthly Spotify listeners, so yeah, we've been paying attention. Her debut EP, spilling my guts, is out now on Artist House, bringing together her breakout run, from 'dog with a bone' to 100-million-stream and viral TikTok song 'bloodstream', in one raw, unflinching story about toxic love and healing. Every lyric feels ripped straight from a diary, and that's exactly the point.
