Comme Des Garcons extravagant show

Comme Des Garcon’s runway looked like as if it had been invaded by another form of life.

Founder of the Japanese brand, Rei Kawakubo, created the theme of embracing silhouettes and she did not disappoint.

The models were barely recognizable with silver netting in their hair and foils covering half their faces. Kawakubo’s bold collection features neutral tones, silvers and of course the iconic red.

The abundance of textures and shapes including pieces made out of paper bags, felt and foam were definitely an inspiration and another side to couture fashion. The models took dolly steps in their restricting outfits, making the show a literal out of this world experience.

Here are our favourite, show stopping pieces!
