Remix Spectre Series: Part 3 with Harman Grubiša

For part three of our Spectre Series, we sat down with fashion designer duo Harman Grubiša to hear about how the HP Spectre helped the girls during some of their busiest months.

Designers Madeleine Harman and Jessica Grubiša have had a monumental rise to the top since the launch of their label in 2014. The former Whitecliffe graduates brought together their two very different aesthetics to create a brand of accessories and apparel for women worldwide.

Having debuted at New Zealand Fashion Week last year, Harman Grubiša was this year announced as the Mercedes-Benz Designer to open the 2016 event.

‘Before the show, we had to run around to so many different appointments, so having the HP Spectre made taking notes a breeze, because it’s so light and easy to carry around,’ says designer Jessica Grubisa.

The Mercedes-Benz Harman Grubiša show, called ROCOCO, presented a confident collection of beautiful fabrics, texture combinations and rich colours on a dazzling gold runway. The girls set the bar high for the week with a show that was alluring, bold and sexy!

It was an integral part of the planning sessions before the show, including the testing of the music…

‘We listened to the soundtrack on the HP Spectre Bang & Olausen speakers, including the show finale song “I’m Every Woman” by Whitney Houston!’ says Jessica.

‘We also used the computer to showcase all the runway imagery in our buying appointments after the show. It’s resolution and depth of colour are second to none, so it gave all buyers who weren’t at the show a chance see the details they missed with ease.’
