If you're looking for a new sweet treat spot to try out this weekend, Mother is the place for you. Standing proud on Grey Lynn’s Richmond Road, this new bakery offers very good pastries from Butter Butter’s Petra Galler, focaccia sandwiches, and coffee in a beautifully European-inspired space. This mothership of a cafe is almost always bustling with customers—a telltale sign that it’s the newest hotspot.

Just in time for summer, Takapuna Beach Cafe Fish & Chip Shop reopens
Back by popular demand, Takapuna Beach Cafe’s Fish & Chip Shop pop-up is set to return this October. The menu is set to include fan favourites from last year, along with some fresh items, such as crispy calamari rolls and deep-fried pineapple-lump chocolate fish. This pop-up offers family-favourite beachside takeaways, with the midas touch of Takapuna Beach Cafe—using high-quality ingredients and sustainably line-caught fish.

Celebrate World Pasta Day with a special menu at Bossi
For one night only, executive chefs Giulo Barducci and Shaun Dowling are celebrating World Pasta Day in the best way they know how—a collaborative 6-course dinner. Hosted at Auckland’s Bossi on the 25th of October, this event brings together Italian heritage with Michelin-level artistry. This blink-and-you’ll-miss-it event will celebrate New Zealand’s seasonal produce in the distinct culinary handwriting of these beloved chefs.

Savor is bringing a fun new vibe to Auckland night-life
As always, Savor Group has your Friday night sorted with their neighbouring establishments, Bar Ziti and Flush Gold Club. Bar Ziti offers refreshing tap beers, cocktails and delicious Italian bites. Juno is finally open for evenings
Popular Grey Lynn eatery, Juno, (whose owners were previously of Omni fame) is now welcoming guests to enjoy their evening service. As the sun sets, Juno lights up: it’s a cozy yet refined atmosphere. Guests can enjoy elevated sharing plates, classic cocktails and decadent desserts to finish.
