The Remix Weekly Wrap Up
We’re back with another week’s worth of highlights! Here’s what’s on our radar this week at Remix HQ…

Michael Hill marks a new chapter in colour
Michael Hill has kicked off a new era this week with the launch of the Cocktail Edit. The range centres on statement cocktail rings alongside a lineup of gold pendants that borrow their palette straight from the drinks menu—think the citrus hues of an Aperol Spritz or a Negroni in raspberry garnet and citrine. Designed to stack and layer effortlessly, these pieces move just as easily from a lazy Sunday spritz to a night out on the town—we’ll definitely be taking the excuse to match our outfit to our favourite cocktail.

Taika Waititi and Zeekr move in their own lane
Zeekr has collaborated with Taika Waititi to create Spotlight, a photography exhibition capturing both parties' shared ethos of challenging conventionality. With free entry from 17–20 September at Studio 230, Spotlight features seven original photographic works. Each scene was built by hand, suspending objects and even people from the studio ceiling and lighting them from above with a suspended Zeekr 7X. Through Waititi's distinctive imagination, each scene appears as an idea might first to its creator: suspended, unexpected and emerging from the dark—a fitting metaphor for a collaboration built on doing things differently.

The NYFW show everyone’s talking about
Ralph Lauren's Spring 2027 Ready-to-Wear collection proved that while the internet is busy scrolling Pinterest for the best archival moments, the house hasn’t lost sight of what makes it work. The soundtrack set the tone, blending "I Found My Love in Portofino" with The Police's "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic". Leaning into unapologetically romantic, whimsical dressing, Lauren kept each look undone just enough to remain perfectly wearable. The collection, built around "ways of dressing that celebrate ingenuity, originality, and character—the freedom and fun of creating a style that is truly personal", truly celebrates the versatility of the modern woman. No word yet on what will be able to shop, but we'll be keenly waiting.
