A new era for Auckland retail
The countdown is nearly over for one of Auckland's most anticipated openings. Faradays will welcome the public to its three floors on Queen Street at 1pm on Saturday 26 September. The store has big ambitions, taking its cue from the grand department stores of London. Featuring more than 100 brands, including Jacquemus, Maison Margiela, Chloé and SKIMS, there's plenty to explore. Consider this your cue to clear Saturday afternoon—we'll be there, umbrellas at the ready.

SOUL turns the month red
Negroni Week began on Monday, but SOUL has never done things by the book, so one week has become a whole month. The four-week SOUL Goes Red celebration with Campari kicked off on Wednesday at the waterfront bar. Guests enjoyed an evening of exceptional drinks, including a limited collection of cocktails showcasing Campari in five unique expressions and a Negroni ice luge, naturally. Every Negroni sipped sends $1 to Negroni Week in support of the Slow Food Movement. Running until October 18, consider this your official invitation to Club Campari.

Kindness looks good on you
Some of Aotearoa's most celebrated artists and designers have teamed up again for Wear Kindness, now in its third year, and these are T-shirts with a purpose. New designs come from twenty-seven names, Waiapu Road, Vince Ropitini, Hine, Otis Frizzel and Ema Frost, while Juliette Hogan and Kiri Nathan bring back their bestsellers. Fronted by Dame Lisa Carrington, Brook Ruscoe, Tegan Yorwarth and Bella Kalolo, the tees are $70 each via pre-sale from The Print Room until 5 November, with all profits going to Kindness Collective's Christmas Joy Store. Our pick is Otis Frizzel's Sex Pistols-inspired design, because yes, "Kindness is PUNK!"
