Introducing the Homecoming issue: Georgia Fowler, and the very best of New Zealand fashion

When the news broke that New Zealand Fashion Week was making its long-awaited return, it felt almost cosmic. Spring is, as ever, our fashion issue—and the timing couldn’t have been more apt. A chance to pause, look back, and return to where it all began.

And who better to mark the moment than Georgia Fowler? A homegrown supermodel, an international force, and—if we’re honest—something of a North Star for us. We caught her in a rare pause at home, a perfect homecoming of its own. Georgia has graced the pages of Remix twice before, most recently in 2017. Life looks different now—two children later, some things move more slowly, others not at all. In our conversation, she’s candid about what home means to her these days, and about her enduring connection to New Zealand fashion.
