Beyoncé Day is officially a public holiday

We have always known that Beyoncé is queen and finally now the government are recognising this royal status with the declaration of the 34-year-old pop star's very own public holiday: Beyoncé Day.

After her performance of The Formation World Tour in the state on the 23rd of May, the Minnesota Governor declared the 23rd of May the day of all things Beyoncé.

Admittedly, the day is only official in Minnesota so far, but we can definitely see it catching on worldwide. While we may have missed it this time round, be sure to mark that date in your calendars for next year.
