To mark the launch of Remix’s Winter issue, we gathered a group of close friends and collaborators for an intimate dinner at Trivet, the JW Marriott’s flagship restaurant. With winter settling in and the nights stretching longer, it felt like the right time—and the right way—to celebrate the season’s arrival and another milestone issue.
The dinner was a gentle nod to everything we love about winter: easy conversation, indulgent food, and the kind of warm, atmospheric setting that makes you forget the chill outside. Chef Wallace Mua delivered a standout seasonal menu inspired by nature's abundance, crafted with care and designed to be shared. Moody candlelight, thoughtful florals, flowing wine and rounds of espresso martinis set the tone for a night that was both refined and relaxed.
We’re grateful to the inimitable team at JW Marriott and Trivet for hosting us with such generosity—and for creating a space where luxury never feels out of reach.
Guests were also treated to a truly special surprise, thanks to our friends at Michael Hill, who gifted each guest with diamonds to take home. The iconic jewellery brand also dressed our cover star, Miranda Kerr, for her exclusive shoot and feature in this issue—marking yet another chapter in a longstanding friendship.
To round out the evening, wellness favourites Embodyme and Me Today provided luxurious self-care essentials, the kind of winter rituals we’ll be leaning into as the season continues.
It was a celebration of the magazine, yes—but also of the people who make Remix what it is. A reminder that sometimes, the most memorable nights are the ones spent around a table.
