The Auckland Pride Festival returns in February 2024

Fabulous colours, optimistic tunes, and hints of burlesque are back for 2024! Auckland’s monumental Pride Festival returns this February.

Pride invites you to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ advocates, pioneers, and champions who have helped shine a light on the world of diverse colour. Those participating in the festival have taken the opportunity to truly embody and publicly express their pride. This gives festival-attendees the chance to collectively, unite as a community and advocate for the principles of love, diversity, and inclusion.

Opening the event is Te Tīmatanga held at the Civic Wintergarden on February 1st. Together, guests are invited to ignite this year’s celebrations through performing arts, dance, ceremony and ritual to embody the essence of Ki Tua. The evening will be lively and exciting, accompanied by live music from the award-winning Valkyrie.
