Remix visits Gucci Garden in Gold Coast

The 2016 world of fashion was all about Gucci. Since Alessandro Michele’s appointment as creative director last year, the House has boldly blossomed into a new era that reflects his magical imagination.

Nowhere does Michele’s fantastical vision manifest more strongly than Gucci Garden, the jungle-inspired, in-store setup that has been making it’s way across Australia with great excitement.

I was lucky enough to join Australia’s Gucci team for the launch of Gucci Garden at Gold Coast Pacific Fair last Wednesday and to experience the unveiling of this spectacular installation first hand.

The exclusive in-store setup, which has previously been showcased in Gucci flagships in Melbourne and Sydney, features an imaginary universe of flora and fauna that are part of the House’s new design lexicon. Motifs such as giant butterflies, birds, ladybirds, bumblebees, tigers, hydras and snakes adorn the recent Gucci collections.

See the Gucci Garden for yourself in the gallery below and if you’re heading over to Gold Coast for family time or a pre-Christmas getaway then make sure you stop by Gucci at Gold Coast Pacific Fair to see it. The setup will be on display until December 18th.
