Go all-American with Tommy Hilfiger x Gigi Hadid

A wonderfully hip and kooky collection has spawned from the latest collaboration between 65-year-old designer Tommy Hilfiger and supermodel Gigi Hadid.

21-year-old Gigi hand selected the models, clothes and music for Tommy’s show at Venice Beach in LA earlier this week. True to her style, the clothes are sports-inspired and rough-edged, featuring a lot of frayed hemlines and freshly-cut crop tops. In the best way possible, the collection was also just a tad bit hippie.

We think Gigi was part of the mind behind the creation of the show itself, too. There were amusement park rides, food stalls, flame throwers, drummers and unicyclists. The model really knows how to attract a crowd, and that she did, with the show also having an open-door policy.

Tommy has made a great move in collaborating with Gigi, making the clothes much more likeable to a younger audience. The glimpses of American flags, biker boots and embroidery has made the collection oh-so-instagrammable. Have a flick through some of the images below and you will see what we mean!
