Turning Auckland’s inner-city precinct into a sparkling winter wonderland designed to surprise and delight, Commercial Bay has reimagined the holiday season in its own inimitable style. With inspired fashion, dining, and festive moments around every corner, Commercial Bay has created a space where you’ll find a slower (and we think much cooler) kind of joy.
While the coveted photoshoot spots have all booked out, there’s still plenty on the agenda. For those with little ones in tow, Candy Cane Lane at Harbour Eats turns weekends in December into storybook moments with fairy-led scavenger hunts, face painting and more. KidsCan also post their wish lists into one of the Magic Mailboxes scattered across the precinct for a chance to win a $1000 voucher, while one lucky Instagrammer will take home the same prize just for capturing the magic with #ChristmasBay.
For those after a little more late-night entertainment, Deck the Halls, Commercial Bay’s live music series, brings the sound of the season to the laneways every Thursday and Saturday in the lead-up to Christmas, promising a new take on a festive soundtrack with featured sets from MESSIE, Groovy T, Beccie B, Hyan and more.
Beyond the holiday fanfare, Commercial Bay has kept evolving, with exciting new retailers, fresh dining spots, and summer-ready drops arriving just in time for the holidays.
Take advantage of the Christmas hours this December, with shopping available Monday through Wednesday and Saturday from 10 AM to 7 PM, and extended late-night hours on Friday and Saturday until 8 PM, perfect for picking up those last-minute gifts.
