Inside the Remix Empowerment Issue launch!

Moody skies and showers weren't enough to dampen spirits at the Remix Empowerment Issue launch party last Thursday night.

Auckland's inner-city hot-spot, The Glass Goose, was transformed to a bright and breezy oasis, complete with all manner of Luxe Rose cocktails, fresh blossoms by Blush Flowers, and a leafy Selfie Station Photo-booth to boot.

While rain beckoned overhead, our VIP guests flooded the rooftop courtyard (thankfully covered!), where they mixed and mingled with team Remix as they sipped on the three new Luxe Rose varietals - Night Out, Moonchild and Summer Love, all expertly mixed behind the bar by The Glass Goose team.

Our esteemed Autumn issue has hit shelves during a time when the idea of empowerment has been hotly contested. We’re all about those who seek to challenge the status quo, and to celebrate this notion we curated a list of 24 Kiwi empowering individuals in our ‘Power List’ feature. Boasting everyone from Jacinda Arden and Lorde through to Taika Waititi and Simone Anderson, we explore the rise and rise of those who emulate empowerment on an international scale.

This issue also marks the first issue produced by a truly ‘global’ Remix team, with editor Steven Fernandez now being based in LA. Steven was on the ground in Hollywood to shoot supermodel Stella Maxwell for the cover, and interviewed Kiwi songbird Kimbra, who continues to make waves in the US market. Our global operation is enabling us more opportunities than ever to tell your brand stories to both local and international audiences.

Such a glittering affair wouldn't have been possible without the help from naming sponsor, Luxe Rose Cocktails, and our guests were among the first in the world to try their delicious range of three bespoke varietals, designed specifically with an Auckland audience in mind.

Our Empowerment Issue launch marked the first city in the world to experience Luxe Rose, with launches in other global fashion centres like Beijing, Paris, New York, Shanghai and Melbourne pegged for 2018.
