Tesla unveils their first-ever electrical truck

Billionaire Elon Musk, owner of Tesla, unveiled new two electrical vehicles last week in California that have put Tesla on top.

They have expanded their electrical vehicle portfolio by introducing their first truck called the Tesla Semi and they have also introduced an updated version of their Tesla Roadster, which is claimed to be the best sports car on the market at the moment.

The Semi is like no diesel truck, the heavy vehicle can travel up to 500 miles on one single charge and it can travel further than a diesel truck in the same amount of time.  With no engine, exhaust system or transmission it is expected to be easier to maintain. When the truck runs out of juice, it only takes 30 minutes for its mega chargers to give it enough power to travel a further 400 miles.

The new and improved roadster is what has got classic supercar enthusiasts excited after Musk claimed that it is to become the fastest production car ever. He went on to tease that the only thing stopping this car from flying were safety precautions.

The second generation car can travel from 0 to 60 miles per hour in only 1.9 seconds which makes it the first production vehicle to break the two second threshold and can reach a peak of 250 miles per hour. The roadster will be available in 2020 and will put you out of $250,000.

Musk and his company are heavily focusing on the future of travel so we’re expected to see some pretty amazing cars being released in the very near future, including fully autonomous vehicles.
