Deadly, meet Ponies
To celebrate twenty years of leather, craftsmanship, and above all, impeccable style, Deadly Ponies isn’t stepping out of the spotlight to soak in the moment—quite the opposite. The brand is entering a bold new chapter, one that smells just as good as it looks. For the first time, owners Liam Bowden and Steve Boyd venture into the world of scent, debuting two candles in collaboration with fellow Kiwi creative and artist Dan Arps. Together, they present Deadly and Ponies. As the names suggest, Deadly channels a moody, grounded sensibility, inspired by the oak-lined interiors of Deadly Ponies stores and the tactile richness of leather—captured through notes of smoky oud and earthy patchouli. Ponies, conversely, is light and luminous, with bright bergamot and glowing amber taking centre stage, creating what’s set to be the scent of the summer. Though worlds apart in fragrance profile, both natural soy wax candles are housed in ceramic vessels that nod to Arps’ sculptural aesthetic—Deadly in a metallic finish and Ponies in a soft, dusky pink.

Glass acts
There’s no denying the allure of maximalism. There’s a certain freedom in wearing, enjoying, or finding pieces that spark joy and reflect the playfulness inside us all. Melbourne-founded lifestyle brand FAZEEK embodies this undeniably contagious energy beautifully. Since its inception in 2017, it has established itself as the go-to for glass homewares and lifestyle pieces that make a house truly feel like a home. Just in time for Christmas wish lists, FAZEEK unveils its new Bloom collection alongside the return of the much-loved Jewel range. Up first, Bloom—with its jewel-toned clusters of glass petals that open in the sunlight, rising from the surface. Then there’s Jewel, adored for its coloured glass gems delicately attached to each piece. Both collections include FAZEEK’s iconic coupes and highballs, along with oil holders and U-vases. After all, in FAZEEK’s own words, life is too short to be boring.

Two decades of design
Last week, Remix attended Zoë & Morgan's 20th anniversary celebration — a night defined by treasured memories, enduring friendships, and one of the most heartfelt speeches from founder Ruth herself. To mark the milestone and give back to both loyal wearers and new admirers, the premier jewellery label unveils Twenty — a capsule collection of archival designs honouring two decades of creativity and connection. Within the limited release, emblems, charms, and icons integral to the brand’s story make a return: the sunburst, heart rays, and moon bird charm among familiar favourites. “Every piece we design tells a story,” reflects co-owner and designer Morgan. “Our designs blend traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, celebrating both beauty and ethical responsibility.” Twenty is now available — here’s to another 20 years of artistry, storytelling, and timeless craftsmanship that continues to shine.

A girl’s best friend … actually
No stranger to an ‘outfit of the day’ video shared to Tiktok, the Remix team can’t get enough of the Casetify Snappy Snap & Stick Grip Stand. The answer to budding content creators’ prayers – the accessory attaches magnetically to the back of your phone, before sticking to surfaces via the extra-strength suction cups. Talk about no hassle, and no sticky residue. Thanks to Casetify, taking that well-lit outfit of the day has never been easier.

On our summer wishlist!
With the weather heating up, we’re finally looking to ditch the boots and opt for something a little more seasonal. Jandals have been a summer staple for as long as we can remember, and thanks to the girls in Copenhagen, they’re trendier than ever. Effortlessly merging comfort with style, the Crocs Getaway Platform Flip has once again made its way to the top of the Remix girls’ wishlists for the summer. Whether paired with a pair of baggy jeans or trousers, or a summer dress; the style can be matched with just about  everything.
