The Remix Weekly Wrap Up

It’s been a busy one at Remix HQ, but a few things this week caught our eye. Here’s what’s worth knowing before the weekend...

Laneway shows its hand for 2027

Laneway has revealed its 2027 lineup, and it’s a strong one. Fontaines D.C. and The Hayley Williams Show lead the charge, marking the Paramore frontwoman’s first solo shows in New Zealand. Slayyyter, Kim Petras and Ninajirachi bring the pop and electronic side, MUNA and ADÉLA round out the international bill, and Balu Brigada and MOKOMOKAI are our local picks. Tickets are on sale now for Sunday 21 February at Western Springs, a date we’ve already marked in the diary.

Glow on the go

BONNIE has taken its skin-first approach to tanning beyond the bathroom shelf with BOOST and BRONZE, two new face mists made for topping up through the day. BOOST keeps skin hydrated and calm, while BRONZE builds a soft, natural-looking colour over a few days, with no blending or streaks to worry about. Both are  fragrance-free and made in New Zealand, and they’re designed to work alongside the brand’s GLOW and GOLDEN range. For anyone who’s skipped a tan because it felt like too much effort, this one’s for you.

Cassia lights up for Diwali

Diwali is just around the corner, and Cassia is marking the occasion with a special Festival of Lights menu. From 26 October, the beloved modern Indian restaurant is serving a $95 feast at its new Albert Street home. Chef Sid Sahrawat’s lineup includes an Awadhi lamb chop, confit duck khandvi rotolo and a lamb shank korma with a ghost chilli kick, plus a full vegetarian menu. A considered way to celebrate the festival, and one worth securing ahead of the 8 November finale.
