What we're loving at Remix HQ this week
It's that time of the week again, folks. Here's everything we couldn't get enough of at Remix HQ this week.
A tale of two icons
Once again, two of fashion’s most influential names join forces for what many are calling the collaboration of the season. Fusing Levi’s® rich denim heritage with Nike’s cult-favourite Air Max 95 silhouette, the drop includes a limited run of sneakers and denim ready-to-wear. At its core: a reimagined Nike Air Max 95 in three new denim iterations — indigo, ecru, and black. The streetwear staple, known for its layered upper and signature ‘Big Bubble’ cushioning, now features the Levi’s® red tab and bold red branding along the sole shank. As for apparel, the Levi’s® x Nike Trucker Jacket and Baggy Jean come in versatile light-to-mid washes, subtly elevated with exclusive Nike chain-stitched detailing where the Levi’s® logo would traditionally sit. For those with an eye for sport-meets-style, the message is clear: get in quick.
This beloved timepiece has a whole new appeal
OMEGA’s Aqua Terra just got a new size—and a new attitude. For the first time, the classic Seamaster line is available in a 30mm case, with twelve sharply defined references spanning stainless steel, Sedna™ and Moonshine™ gold, and two-tone combinations. Each model features a vibrant dial, minimalist date window at six o’clock, and a transparent caseback revealing one of two brand-new, Master Chronometer-certified calibres—developed specifically for this collection. It’s technical, sure, but also incredibly considered: the integrated bracelets are engineered for comfort and elegance, down to a 2mm micro-adjustment. Fronted by a stacked campaign of names like Tems, Marisa Abela, and former Remix cover star Ashley Graham, my little secret is less about understatement and more about precision—in design, in movement, in how a watch should actually feel on your wrist.
In our shopping cart
We’re always on the hunt for clean beauty products that actually work, so when Aleph launched the latest evolution of their mascara this week, we jumped for joy. If you’re anything like us, you struggle to find mascaras that don’t irritate your eyes, and this Next-Gen Mascara is not only gentle enough for even the most sensitive of skin, it also helps to grow your lashes, naturally. Reformulated with cutting-edge bioactives, fortifying peptides, and nourishing plant waxes, this next-generation makeup essential delivers instant definition, lift, and length, while actively strengthening lashes for visibly longer, healthier results over time.
This new local merino brand has arrived just in time for the winter season
Longform is the new merino-first brand from New Zealand fashion insider Des Rusk, making a quiet case for cosy layers. Launching yesterday with a debut Foundation Edit, the collection rethinks wardrobe staples—think milled jersey chore jackets, loopback sweats with actual shape, and trousers that are somehow both tailored and relaxed. Everything is made from ZQ-certified merino, ethically sourced from New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa, then produced in Vietnam with a focus on longevity over novelty. Rusk, who’s done everything from design at Little Brother to running Wall Fabrics, is using his decades in the industry to reframe merino as a material with real design potential. There are no trend drops or flashy campaigns here—just refined, modular pieces built to earn their place in your wardrobe.
Be one of the first to taste the rainbow
Kiwis consumed over one million bags of Skittles last year, and now, the colourful, sweet, chewy treats from your childhood are having a revamp, and you could be one of the first to try them. To help introduce ‘Skittles Cloudz,’ a chewy, textural twist on the original, Aucklanders are invited to embark on a colour therapy experience designed to help combat the emotional toll of winter at the ‘Taste the Rainbow’ colour burst event at Britomart Station on Friday, July 4th. The Skittles installation is designed to be fun and inclusive, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in vibrant hues, taste the rainbow of colours and experience how colour can affect emotional wellbeing.
