With a lull in sports and events for the best part of 2020, it’s no wonder the 36th America’s Cup has Kiwis a little giddy and excited. From watching the action unfold on the screen to getting up close at the America’s Cup Village, the Cup atmosphere has definitely kicked up a gear.
Remix has the opportunity for one lucky reader to win the chance to get as close as it gets to the action on a boat, along with a full day of VIP hosting thanks to Experience Group. Head down below to enter!
With luxury superyachts lining the berths of the harbour, Auckland’s sailing scene has never been more lively. With few international spectators, New Zealanders have more opportunities than ever to be at the forefront of the action with the best vantage point of all.
Enter: Experience Group, who has been exclusively appointed by the America’s Cup to deliver the official corporate hospitality packages of the series, along with added benefits that no other boats will experience.
There are key packages available, offering a VIP level of hospitality, second to none. Hint: This includes the only boats that have VIP privileges on the water including authorisation to be in the VIP Viewing area, reserved for sponsors and hospitality - it’s practically on the course.
The Shared Package
This is your ticket to watch the racing from a VIP vantage point on the water, complete with 11 hours of fully inclusive hosting.
Starting at the specifically built marquee at the viaduct’s Wynyard Wharf mid-morning, canapes, drinks and lunch will be served to fuel up for an exciting day. Following this, the boat will cruise out of Wynyard Quarter to a prime position and settle in for the afternoon. During the race, there will be afternoon-tea and premium beverages available. A professional MC and special guests will provide pre-race commentary, as well as live music. And, if seeing the teams jibe and tack metres away from the boat isn’t enough, there will be multiple screens live-streaming the race.
Post-race the boat will return back to the marquee for continued hosting and, being located on the viaduct’s doorstep, the night is bound to not stop there…
The shared boat can host 180+ people and is the perfect way to be amongst the action without having to charter a private boat. Ideal for hosting clients or getting a group of keen America’s Cup fans together. Priced from $1,695 per person.
The Land Package
If going out on the water has you grabbing for the sealegs, the land package may be a bit of you. There’s no need to miss out if you’d prefer to stay stationary and in the comfort of the luxury wharf-side marquee. Enjoy the same 11 hours of hosting, as well as all the bites and bevvys, right into the evening. An MC will be present to lead you through the race, as well as large screens for optimum viewing. Priced from $955 per person.
These experiences will elevate your race day experience to another level of luxury.
