Just in time for the Australian Open, Gucci showcases its love for tennis over an intimate dinner with Jannik Sinner

It’s not every day you get invited to dinner with the reigning Australian Open men’s champion. But ahead of his first Grand Slam of 2026, Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner leaned into something a little more playful, a modern take on tennis-inspired style.

To celebrate Gucci’s long-standing affinity for the sport, Remix publisher Tim Phin flew to Melbourne to join Sinner—and other friends of the House—for an intimate dinner marking the start of the iconic tournament. And if it wasn’t already on your radar, it served as a reminder of Gucci’s very cool tennis capsule, which our editors are already layering into their courtside looks this month.

The collection itself channels the refined lifestyle of the tennis world, from sports-inspired ready-to-wear to handbags and accessories. Women’s pieces are crisp and pleated, often accented with Gucci’s signature Web stripe—a modern twist on classic tennis whites. Men’s polo shirts recall a 1970s elegance, with clean-cut, pronounced collars. Accessories bring a retro touch through headbands and metallic aviators, while duffle bags and handbags in GG Monogram canvas with leather trim echo the House’s heritage of sport-infused craftsmanship.

The capsule also includes an exclusive tennis racket, created in collaboration with HEAD. This limited-edition Gucci x HEAD racket highlights the House’s enduring connection to the tennis world, marrying performance with unmistakable design.

With a few weeks of Grand Slam action ahead, we’ll leave all the work on the courts to the players—and rely on these picks from this capsule to do the heavy lifting in our wardrobes instead.
