Everything to know about Solstice 2026 at Commercial Bay
With Sunglass Hut’s, LSKD’s, and Oroton’s recent arrival and Arc’teryx (and other exciting retail giants) still to come, Commercial Bay continues to flex its fashion muscle, giving us a few new reasons to return to this all-encompassing hub of style. Nothing captures that pulling power quite like Solstice: the annual celebration of fashion, music and culture that takes over the precinct from Thursday 24 to Sunday 27 September.
The runway remains the highlight for Auckland’s fashion set, and this year brings two chances to see spring collections from local and international retailers alike. Styled by creative Sammy Salsa, the ground-level laneway will host looks from Zambesi, Tommy Hilfiger and Juliette Hogan—just a few of the labels that call the Commercial Bay home—while DJ P Money amps up the energy from the decks.
You can watch Thursday at 8pm or Saturday at 1pm, with complimentary viewing from Levels One and Two. Beyond the catwalk, a curated line-up of food, entertainment and activations runs across all four days—ideal for both fleeting needs and those who might want to stay a while.
Head of Consumer Marketing, Lily Montana, cements how Solstice has become a key highlight on Commercial Bay’s annual calendar.
"Commercial Bay has always been shaped by the city around it. As Auckland continues to evolve, so does the precinct...becoming a place where people come not only to shop and dine, but to discover, connect and experience something new.”
