G-SHOCK’s Luxe Black reinterprets classic 2100 line

Unfussy, assured and timeless: three of the many reasons black remains a no-brainer in the style realm.

Cementing this ethos is G-SHOCK's Luxe Black series, reinterpreting the classic 2100 line with refined minimalism. Every element of the dial has been redrawn—slimmer hands, flat-topped indexes and a matte finish that absorbs light rather than reflecting it—while retaining the overall tried-and-true design concept.

The result? Rich, contrasting black hues accented by intricate metallic components and coloured minute markers, while the vapor-deposited glass enhances the dial’s dimensional feel.

Both the GA-2100 and GM-2100 models feature urethane bands, the former with a matte, dimpled design, while the latter is subtly textured. The GA-2100, meanwhile, includes bio-based resin components, a material expected to help reduce environmental impact.

Beneath the polish sits the durability and everyday wearability G-SHOCK is known for. Its signature shock-resistant structure and 20-bar water resistance make this a watch for all adventures, while handy features including world time, a stopwatch, countdown timer and alarms make it a seamless fit for any lifestyle. A cult favourite, indeed.
