Graff’s new collection, Foufou, finds the fun in fine jewellery

Pressure makes diamonds, as the saying goes—but as Lana Andelane has realised, jewellery doesn’t always need to be so serious.

Fine jewellery carries a certain gravitas, for a number of reasons: the geological rarity of its materials, the master craftsmanship, its intrinsic value. But not everything about fine jewellery has to be serious—as esteemed British jewellery maison Graff proves with its latest collection, it can even be fun.

Aptly titled Foufou (French for ‘just a little bit eccentric’), the new collection features small but mighty stacking rings that celebrate the playful side of precious jewels. Contemporary yet timeless, these collectable pieces are designed to be styled, layered, and enjoyed in endless combinations, encouraging individuality and a sense of play.

Handcrafted exclusively from Graff’s exquisite white diamonds, each ring features a single solitaire in every cut conceivable—oval, emerald, cushion, radiant, pear, heart, round brilliant—on a sleek, pavé diamond band. Each stone within the Foufou collection is cut and polished by Graff’s master artisans, revealing its natural lustre.

Shining with the brilliance of Graff’s exceptional collection of white diamonds, further Foufou ring designs are set with a 0.43 carat heart shape D colour, a 0.41 carat pear shape, 0.22 carat emerald cut and a 0.21 carat round brilliant diamond, each centre stone positioned on a white pavé band.

While Foufou encourages a departure from the seriousness often associated with diamonds and precious jewellery, every Graff diamond is conflict-free and responsibly mined in accordance with the Kimberley Process, ensuring the collection’s sense of joy is underpinned by a commitment to ethical sourcing.

Whether you’re stacking, mixing, or matching, Foufou puts a carefree spin on fine jewellery—because if diamonds are a girl’s best friend, what’s a friendship without fun?
