A Trip to Muriwai with Mercedes-Benz & The French Cafe

Last week the Remix team were invited to a very special lunch with Mercedes-Benz, on the clifftops of Muriwai Beach, to celebrate their new friend of the brand. On the drive out (where we were each lucky enough to drive a brand new Mercedes!), everyone was taking guesses as to who fit the bill, but once it was revealed that food was involved, of course the first place that came to mind was the incredible French Cafe - and its founder, Simon Wright. As a friend of the brand, Simon Wright’s culinary expertise and knowledge will be shared across a number of exclusive ‘money-can’t-buy’ Mercedes-Benz customer events, incorporating bespoke menus, outstanding fine dining, and the opportunity to engage with one of New Zealand’s premier chefs The partnership rounds off a great year for Simon, as The French Café has recently been recognised by millions of independent reviewers as Trip Advisor’s number one Australasian fine dining restaurant in the 2015 Traveller’s Choice Awards.
