Exciting news for the Paris-obsessed (aren't we all), esteemed hotelier Hilton is bringing a little piece of France to its Auckland, Taupo and Queenstown resorts!
Introducing the newly minted rooms modeled off the luxuriously French Hôtel du Marc. One of each of these Parisian-inspired rooms will feature in all three New Zealand Hilton hotels.
As if staying at the Hilton wasn't already amazing enough, they have partnered with Veuve Clicquot to bring a new and unique experience to hotel guests. Working closely with interior designer Michelle Halford of The Design Chaser, the rooms have been transformed to have an elegant aesthetic that merges old world sophistication with contemporary design. Michelle has worked with DOMO Luxury Furniture Concepts and Bo Concept to select the beautiful furniture pieces that can be found in the room. “I wanted to bring to life the elegance that the illustrious Hôtel du Marc is known for. While each room has its own look and feel, all three have been designed to evoke the ultimate in luxury with a slight Clicquot twist.”
“We’re delighted to have partnered with Veuve Clicquot to style the hotels’ first ever Hôtel du Marc experience,” says Damon Woolf, marketing manager, Hilton New Zealand. “The famed French accommodation has a legendary reputation so to be able to reinvent it here in New Zealand is exciting because we are able to give our guests a truly unique experience.”
Anything French-themed would not be complete without one key item - champagne! Luckily, the Hilton has spared no detail. On arrival you are greeted with glasses of champagne and a complimentary bottle of Veuve Clicquot, complimentary breakfast and the option to book a luxury dining experience.
The results of these improvements are the Madame Clicquot Room at Hilton Auckland, the Ponsardin Suite at the Hilton Lake Taupo and the La Grande Dame Room at Hilton Queenstown Resort & Spa.
