This weekend head over to Ponsonby's new pop-up bar, World Class House, where five of New Zealand's best bartenders have created delicious cocktail recipes with food to match.
Lorietta Bahr of Bedford Soda & Liquor (Auckland), James Millar of The Gin Room (Auckland), Jonny Cresswell of Revelry (Auckland), Kneale Brown of Matterhorn (Wellington), and Ray Letoa of Roxy (Wellington) were named as the top bartenders in New Zealand's final of Diageo World Class, the world's most prestigious and largest cocktail education programme.
At World Class House on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th August, these incredible bartenders have created their own unique cocktails with food to match as well as an interactive stations at the venue where you can create your own Bloody Mary from scratch. Finalists present their signature cocktails each evening to see which is the most popular on the night.
Find the pop-up at the old Ponsonby Post Office in St Mary's Bay. Tickets are $40 and include two drinks and two food matches.
