Everything you've missed this week

We’re back with another weekly roundup! Let’s see what the Remix team has been vibing with this week...

Studio Ten moves to Vinegar Lane
In a move that has cemented Ponsonby's humble Vinegar Lane as one of the best beauty destinations in the inner-west, earlier this month, Studio Ten moved its popular nail studio to a newer (and much larger space on the street. Over the road from other brilliant businesses like My Beauty Room and Sculpted by Lela, Studio Ten's luxurious new space has meant that the team can widen their offering, and now they are offering pedicures for the first time. We've already booked our follow-up appointment.

Rory William Docherty is heading to London (Fashion Week)
Arguably one of Aotearoa's most exciting names in fashion right now, Rory William Docherty, has sights set on the antipodes, with his eponymous label scheduled to debut at London Fashion Week this September. Alongside his signature structural designs, Rory will be taking another New Zealand talent with him—Aleph Beauty, as his official partner for makeup. Both brands share a core ethos of craftsmanship, sustainability and storytelling, and we couldn't think of two better names to put New Zealand—right now—on the map.
Aleph's new pop-up is the perfect place for NZFW glam
There's never been a better time in Auckland's calendar for a cool new brand moment—and Aleph might have one of the best out there right now. The New Zealand-made skincare brand has launched a beautiful space at Ponsonby Central, offering personalised skin consultations, shade matching, and hands-on experiences with Aleph's clean, multi-use products, all rooted in this kind of effortless, natural philosophy. The brand's founder, Emma Peters, will be taking point on all things beauty at many of fashion week's moments—so this is the perfect opportunity for you to, quite literally, get the look. The Aleph pop-up is open 18-31 August, at 8 Brown Street.

Love to dine out?
Entertainment Group is back in Aotearoa - if that name isn't ringing any bells, perhaps this will jog your memory. Remember the big book full of vouchers to be used across dining, travel and recreational activities that your parents used to keep in their car glovebox? Or maybe you remember it from your school library? Well, it's back but with a modern revamp in the form of an app. Formerly known as the Entertainment Book, the group has partnered with 15,000 merchants across Australasia, raising $112 million for not-for-profits since inception. Its memberships connect food lovers to iconic establishments like Baduzzi, The French Café, Regatta, Kol, and so much more. If you're anything like us and love to eat out, this app is for you!
