The Remix Weekly Wrap Up
Another week has come and gone, and we’re back with another roundup of highlights of the week that was. Here’s what’s trending this week at Remix HQ…
GULP skin enters its newest chapter
Following its identity refresh in April, GULP isn't wasting any time expanding its skincare ritual, introducing two new additions to the range: After Hours Eye Patches and Pillow Peptide Lip Butter. The launch marks a new chapter for the New Zealand skincare brand, but the philosophy hasn't changed — hydration first, always. A product for the lips, one for the eyes; between them, the two new launches target the areas where dehydration shows up first and, for most of us, where treatment tends to fall short. The new additions complete the bookends of the GULP ritual—morning to night, cleanse to sleep—designed to move with your routine, not against it.

A final sample sale
After a decade of distinctly New Zealand craftsmanship that trailblazed its way around the world, Wynn Hamlyn is pressing pause. Its S/S 26 collection will be its last—for now, at least.
The Remix team won't be missing our last chance to shop unseen samples, one-offs, past seasons and archive pieces at Wynn Hamlyn's final ever archive and sample sale. Take our lead and mark the date: the label opens the doors to its workroom one last time from 3–6 September, 10am–6pm. Head to their Instagram and tag a friend to win yourselves a $1000 voucher to spend at the sale—but watch out, we've already been blowing up their comments.

Glasshouse bottles twenty years of history
To celebrate twenty years of crafting some of Australasia's most-loved fragrances, Glasshouse Fragrances is marking the milestone with the launch of Absolutely Everything All at Once—a limited-edition candle inspired by the scent of the laboratory itself; a culmination of the scents, ingredients and experiments that have shaped the brand's fragrance portfolio over two decades.
Landing on August 24 and blending 24 unique notes, including bergamot, citrus, blackcurrant, gardenia, caramel, smoky wood and amber, the candle traces the evolution of founder Nicole Eckels' "beautiful delusion" into a globally recognised fragrance house.

BONNIE gets a head start on spring
With spring wardrobes already being planned, the Remix team was after something to shake off the winter pale and get a glow going—thankfully, BONNIE has come to the rescue. A New Zealand-made, skin-first gradual tan founded by Mary Outram, BONNIE delivers natural, buildable colour while genuinely looking after the skin underneath it. Everything is dermatologist-tested, fragrance-free and gentle enough for sensitive skin, so you can get your bronze without any of the usual compromises.

Strike gold at KFC
Forget the pawn shop — KFC is putting a delicious spin on the gold rush. From September 4–5, between 11am–2pm and 4pm–7pm, The Colonel’s Liquid Gold Exchange lands at 177 Ponsonby Road in Auckland. Kiwis can trade any gold item — think gold-foil wrappers, coins and trophies — for a complimentary pack of tenders and a taste of Liquid Gold. The creamy, peppery dip arrives at KFC restaurants nationwide for a limited time from September 1, priced at $2.99.
